Barry Power

Here’s another short clip of Barry recording with me in Bay Studio. On the day we had set up all the amps we planned on using, and I had set up the three mics I usually use on amps. While I was getting my levels, Barry picked up a Danelectro that was lying around in the Live Room and began riffing on this song – we went down there with no intention of adding any more electric to this tune but I really liked what he was doing. Very simple, not completely following the bass line, and quietly ominous. The guitar itself is Spud’s I think, we definitely owe him a pint! Continue reading →
